Centralised Stores Relocation & Infrastructure Integration

Operational Stores Warehousing | February 2026

Controlled execution in live operational environments.

Relocated and consolidated all network infrastructure, data containment, CCTV, Wi-Fi, and AV solutions into a new 21,500sqft centralised stores facility, completed in 16 days without disrupting production.

Operational Context

The client relocated their stores function to a new centralised location spanning approximately 21,500sqft (2,000sqm). This move necessitated the complete transfer and consolidation of existing network infrastructure, data cabling, and supporting containment, alongside the deployment of additional CCTV, Wi-Fi coverage, and AV solutions.

The project required strict coordination to ensure zero disruption to ongoing operations and production schedules. Beyond the physical installation, the team developed company-wide systems, policies, and procedures to govern staff usage of the new environment. The full lifecycle, from inception to handover, was executed within a 16-day window.

Engineering Scope
Discovery, design, and relocation of all network infrastructure and data containment
Consolidation of existing systems into the new centralised facility
Deployment of additional CCTV, Wi-Fi, and AV solutions to meet coverage requirements

Development of company systems, policies, and procedures for staff usage

Coordination and supervision of appointed electrical contractors for integrated delivery
Risk & Impact Management
Achieved full relocation and integration within a strict 16-day timeframe
Maintained zero disruption to production and operational workflows during the move
Eliminated infrastructure fragmentation through centralised consolidation
Ensured seamless coordination between internal engineering teams and external electrical contractors
Established robust governance policies to support long-term operational stability

Delivery Model

Delivered under a single accountable engineering team that managed the full lifecycle from discovery to handover. The team instructed and supported the appointed electrical contractor, ensuring a consolidated delivery model where physical infrastructure, data systems, and operational policies were integrated seamlessly to advance client interests without operational friction.

Pricing Model

Our pricing model is outcome-based and phase-driven. Clients select the delivery phases they require, and pricing is applied accordingly using our methodology matrix, rather than time-and-materials.

This model enables:

  • Rapid quotation (often within 1 hour of scoping)
  • Work to be actioned in hours rather than days or weeks
  • Predictable cost and delivery outcomes
  • Clear ownership of compliance responsibilities
  • Full accountability and risk ownership by a single provider

An additional benefit is that this approach enables clear, high-level vendor comparison across enterprise technology engagements.
